What Should You Eat to Build That Booty?

Let's be honest, everyone wants a Kim K or Beyonce booty, after-all they're not writing songs about a flat booty, right? Squats alone aren't going to get you that perfectly round, evenly toned, full booty.  Did you know, eating also plays an influential role in seeing progress with booty gains!  We've got a few eating tips up our sleeves to help grow that booty, read on with us.
 
What Should You Eat to Build That Booty?

 

#1 Carbs aren’t the enemy:

Yes, processed and refined carbohydrates such as bread, cake, crackers, and cookies aren't good to consume every day (everything in moderation).  Healthy whole-food carbs such as fruits, vegetables, and whole grains promote healthy weight goals and better health benefits overall! It's actually recommended that we get the majority of our calories from healthy carbohydrates. Carbs are necessary for our bodies to function at it's best, so get those good carbs in girl!

 

What Should You Eat to Build That Booty? 

 

#2 Make sure you have some fats: 

Don't assume fatty foods are bad for you. Again, while there may be some truth to that, some fats are in fact good for your body by helping promote muscle growth (aka help that booty), improve cholesterol levels and reduce inflammation. However, it’s important to know which ones are good for you. Avocados, many nuts, fatty fish (omega -3) are ALL good fats to have in a balanced diet. Make sure you're adding healthy fats to your daily meals!


What Should You Eat to Build That Booty? 

#3 Fuel with protein:

 Of course, protein = muscle growth... but, what really matters is good quality protein to help you achieve those (booty) gains. Bottom line, consume a pre-workout snack, such as an apple with peanut butter, 30 minutes before workout. Then have your post-workout protein ideally 30 minutes after.
